I don't need a large screen, 13" is perfect for me.but to go with a sub 10" screen as my go-to machine when something fast and furious is happening? I don't think so.

Perhaps my perception is off though? My greatest concern is losing a machine that can run *anything* created by the hobbyist software developers out there. I'm your typical user who doesn't use the computer for anything remotely close to what it's capable of - but I still can't fathom the idea of scrapping a computer and going solely with a tablet. I'm not saying that the Surface Pro 3 is a bad product or anything, but I can't imagine that the MacBook Air is the product that MS imagines the SP3 replacing. I really would like to know who would take up this offer?
